The Challenge
A 1940s Portuguese colonial manor converted into a 14-room boutique hotel. Preserving the heritage character while meeting modern guest expectations required surgical precision.
The Approach
Original mosaic floors, cast-iron balustrades, and frangipani courtyards were restored and celebrated. Contemporary interventions — bathrooms, lighting, climate control — were designed to disappear.
The Outcome
Awarded Best New Boutique Hotel, Maharashtra Tourism Awards 2024.
